Talking About What You See
Some of the LIGO science concepts are waves, wave propagation, light
resonance, gravity, interference, and light. Online exhibits, movies,
questions, and demonstrations will guide you. Experience hands-on
activities at LIGO Livingston. Once you have experienced the activities,
"snacks",
and exhibits
you will want to talk and join interactive discussions about what
you have seen and heard. In this section of the website you will
be presented with several ways in which you can do just that! Docents
will be available to assist you.
Let's Start Talking! (links to Online Communities
below open in new windows).
There will be several online communities
that will engage you and
others in interactive discussions
about the LIGO concepts!
As the groups get started
there will be links in
this area. Some are already
started. So come back frequently
to see who's online.
Voice-Enabled Discussion Boards will be available and led
by docents.
Docents
are the heart of LIGO!
The docents in this project are
being trained to teach about
the LIGO physics concepts with
the interactive, engaging, and
exciting exhibits at LIGO Livingston
and with the "snacks" at LIGO
SUBR. Some of these pacesetters
